Our patient care

We can offer excellent results for out treatments. The know-how of our multi-professional team and the high quality of our supportive care help to minimize complications. The treatment period and the care relationship start with precise diagnostics utilising the expertise inside the multi-professional team. The entire care plan can be accomplished in the same hospital. Our treatment guidelines are consistent with the Nordic and European operators and we have taken the level of our supportive care very high.

The care includes tests and measures that are implemented as painlessly and safely as possible. Medication, medical supervision and guiding the patients and the parents are part of the care. The age of the child, the mental, physical and social needs and the life situation of the family guide the planning and implementing of the care. Parents can accompany their children at the ward and there is a playroom for children. The families can also use the services of a psychologist, a social worker, a pastor, a kindergarten teacher, a teacher and hospital clowns.

We treat children who suffer from leukemia, brain tumours and bleeding disorders. We specialise in paediatric cancer, paediatric lymphoma, paediatric acute leukemia and childhood cancer chemotherapy. We can help in cases when a doctor suspects a tumour and starts to plan tests. We are experts in paediatric surgery, CyberKnife treatment in paediatric brain tumours, radiotherapy treatment and paediatric neurology disorders.
